Personal data: (items) name and email or phone number; company, business number, design requirements, specifications and attachments when supplied (purpose) design review, clarification of essential specifications, preview reply, quotation and production consultation (retention) 3 years from submission, or longer where a transaction requires statutory retention, then destroyed without delay. DXF and Gerber (zip) are parsed for outline, holes and existing LED positions in the layout draft. Sketches, photos and PDFs can be read by AI only after separate consent. Manual entry, CAD parsing and submission remain available without AI consent. DWG is attached only.

AI reading is optional. Only when you press the button below are the selected image/PDF file contents sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to an external service outside Korea. Recipient: Google LLC (Gemini API; USA and other countries where Google operates data centers). Data: the selected image/PDF file contents only (no contact fields or other attachments). Purpose: extracting design inputs such as dimensions, holes and connectors. Retention: as set by the Google Gemini API terms after processing. Declining has no effect on manual entry, CAD parsing or submitting your request. Remove names, contact details, signatures and unnecessary content from files and upload only the needed drawing area. AI results may be wrong and need your review.

Engineering design

Our engineers draw on experience gained from thousands of LED PCB designs, supported by past design data, to develop placement, series/parallel circuits and routing and check shorts, opens and clearance. Every design is reviewed by an engineer for thermal and mechanical fit and manufacturability before it is finalized. We contact you if any details need clarification.

Preview

You receive a preview PDF with layout image, circuit summary and sample/production quote. Revisions are free.

Sample · production

After approval and prepayment we fabricate the PCB, assemble and supply LEDs, and deliver finished modules.

Free design terms

Design fee: Standard design $0 (AI layout draft, staff review and revisions); manufacturing charged separately

References: DXF/Gerber parsing; optional Google Gemini image/PDF reading with separate consent; DWG attached
Thermal pattern: Thermal design reviewed by an engineer for the product conditions
Out of scope: Housings, diffusers and waterproofing are provided by the customer

FAQ

Is it really free?+

Yes, AI standard design and revisions are free, on condition that samples and production are made by BIO Electronics.

Can I get the Gerber files?+

Manufacturing files are not provided for free designs. You review the preview PDF and we take responsibility for manufacturing.

How long does it take?+

For standard shapes (round, bar) we aim to send a preview within 1–3 business days. Special shapes are scheduled after engineering review.

Do I need a drawing?+

Yes. A product photo or a short description of the lighting you want is enough to start. We will clarify dimensions, mounting holes and other manufacturing requirements after review.

Is my data protected?+

Your data is processed for design review and reply and is not publicly posted. If you separately choose and consent to AI sketch reading, only the selected file is sent to Google Gemini. Do not use AI reading for material that must not be transferred externally; contact us about an NDA before submission.
